CLSC Sno-Phone: 716.753.2924
County Trail Conditions: 800.242.4569

Trails are open for a few days. Ground is frozen and snow is thin, especially in fields. We may have to close sometime Saturday, but definitely will be closed Sunday because of warming temps and rain in the forecast. Because of the low snow we won't be grooming during this brief period.

Chautauqua Lake trails will be closed due to warm temps and rain in the forecast beginning Sunday 2/3 and will not reopen until conditions improve.

Trails are open with good/marginal conditions in areas. The water has started to go down in most areas and freeze and snow is on top of a hard ice base. Use caution around corners, stay right and stay safe.

CLSC trails are closed at this time, we are getting warm temps and lots of rain at the moment. After the rain has passed and the cold weather returns we will reevaluate conditions and post an update. Stay tuned...

Trails are open and have deep snow. Groomers have not been out yet. Use caution and don't ride alone. The Westfield trail (S-49) below the gas line (S-46) is open. The upper section toward Mayville has a very large tree down that volunteers are trying to cut and move this afternoon. The Brocton trail (C4B) is open from Mayville to Brocton, but toward Stockton there may be some issues such as an unsigned section and possibly trees down. Groomers are going out tonight. Be safe out there.

Chautauqua Lake trails are now opening with the exception of Westfield and Brocton that have low snow. Please use caution as there may be some unknown trail issues. Come visit our club 50th anniversary celebration today Saturday from 4:00 to 8:00

Trails will not open on 12/21 as we had hoped. Mother Nature has hit us again with warm temps and rain. Please be patient and do not ride on closed trails.Thank you, Chris Jaynes, President

Snow on the way!!! Good news for the upcoming snowmobile season, but it's too early right now! Trails are still
officially CLOSED due to hunting and landowner requests to wait until after the hunter's season ends to open
their private land to snowmobile use. Water and mud isn't frozen yet anyhow and many farmer's field have
crops still standing or livestock out with their gates closed.RESPECT the private landowners please! As a
reminder when the season does open. We need about 12 inches of fresh snow to create a 3 inch base to open
the trails. Latest conditions and statuses will be posted here as well as through our text alerts. Please stay off
the trails until you see a message on our website or facebook page that they have opened.

Dedicated to providing a safe environment for snowmobile enthusiasts riding in our county.

The Chautauqua Lake Snowmobile Club seeks to preserve and improve snowmobiling in our community so that future generations will be able to enjoy nature through snowmobiling as generations have done in the past.
