September 25, 1968
First meeting at Hartfield Fire Hall for all who enjoy the winter sport of snowmobiling.  33 people attended the first meeting.
Dues:  $6.00 - Family    $5.00 - Individual

October, 1969
Obtained a three year leased on an abandoned house on Barnes Street near the Village line off Morris Street for $15 per month.

Trail rides and weiner roast were main activities that year.

Club patches were bought.

February 16, 1969.
First organized snowmobile race held in Chautauqua County.  It was held on Chautauqua Lake at the Mayville Park.
Approximately 125 machines were entered in drag and oval classes.
Trophies awarded (race was a huge success)

82 families joined the club that year.
