Trail Head Parking
The Chautauqua County Trail System can be accessed from a number of locations. Some sponsor businesses allow parking at their locations should you decide to stay at their hotel or eat at their business. If you are not sure if you can park there, please walk in and ask before parking a 4 place trailer and a suburban in their parking lot.
Public parking at Lakeside Park in Mayville is the most common place to get on the trail system. There are tons of spaces here that can accommodate the largest of rigs right next to the lake. We have a limited number of parking spaces at our clubhouse for members on Hannum road and additional parking after the ground has frozen for the year. Please be considerate when parking at any location and leave plenty of room for others.

With over 400 miles of trails, a map is a necessity while navigating the trail system. The maps are available through our club as well as the many sponsor businesses for $10. One high gloss trail map comes free with your membership dues, and you can purchase additional maps for $8.
Trails change each year ever so slightly, so please keep your map up to date so you don’t ride on a trail that has been closed by a landowner. As always, if you don’t see a sign don’t just follow tracks, tracks are not a trail.
