Trails are closed at this time do to warm temperatures and rain. Forecast doesn’t look good for the rest of the season because of the ground softening. It has been a great season with over a month of outstanding riding conditions. Thank you to all the members for supporting the club over the year and the volunteers who donate their time to keep the trail system open and functional. We also appreciate the landowners for being so gracious and letting us use their land each year.

Well this weekend turned out to be a great one for riding! 40 degrees and slushy snow made for some great trails in spots and not so great trails in others. We were out grooming where we could but with slush it gets beat up very quickly with traffic. We heard of multiple groups getting 200+ miles on their final day of riding which is outstanding for being so late in the winter. All in all, a very good last day of riding for most of us. We will continue to monitor the trails and close them down after the warm weather this week eats away at the base. Please keep an eye on the website/facebook/twitter for the trails to close as it can close at any time.

Trails are still in great shape after the warmup early in the week. The expected rain fell south of our area and we are still setup with colder temps going into the weekend. Temps will get near the above freezing mark this weekend and climb north next week. This could be the last real good weekend for riding so be sure to get out enjoy while we still have base! Because of some thawing, corners may be icy so use caution this weekend. There will be lots of newer people on the trail system because of the registration free weekend.

Trails are open and in very good condition with an outstanding base over most of the trail system. Groomers are working very hard to keep everything groomed and the equipment running. We have had multiple groomers break down over the busy month, but things are finally getting back to normal. Temps are forecasted to stay cool for the foreseeable future so get out and ride and stay safe!

Trails are in great condition with good base and drifting snow in places. The colder temperatures are keeping the base around but do not allow for the groomed trails to freeze how we’d like them. Below normal temps are expected through this week and we will be out grooming to smooth things where we can. Once the temps warm up a bit the groom will hold a little longer and conditions will improve in the rougher locations. Some trails around Mayville can be rated a 10 so get out and ride and enjoy!

While CLSC holds a position of never riding on the lake due to unforeseen dangers, there has been an advisory issued for all sleds to stay off the lake. Due to the heavy amounts of snow, ice conditions are poor in spots with very deep snow and slush. We have already lost multiple sleds so please don’t let it be a life we lose next!

Trails are in GREAT shape and the colder temps are back and expected to last through the weekend. We have a good base with more snow in the forecast and some icy spots so use caution around corners as it will be a busy weekend.

This weekend we are having our annual Spaghetti Dinner at the clubhouse from 12-6PM on 2/14 which is the same weekend as the Chautauqua Winter Festival, be sure to stop by for this fun event! We are always looking for volunteers to work the parking lot, if interested please contact us to setup a time. We will also be selling 50/50 at the clubhouse on 2/14. 1 for 2, 3 for 3 and 8 for 5. Winner does not need to be present to win!

The annual poker run benefiting StartFlight will be held on Sunday 2/15 with registration starting at 11AM. Check out our website for a flyer as well as starting locations.

Trails are still in good shape following the warmup with temps in the 40’s and some freezing rain. Grooming will be more productive once the temps go back down later this week. Temps are expected to be cold and a few snow days are in the forecast so conditions should improve once we can smooth things out again and get a little fresh snow. Use caution around corners as they may be icy.

Trails are in excellent condition and groomers are doing their best to take care of 200 miles of trails in our county. We have nearly 2 feet of snow in most of the trails system and plenty of base for some of the best riding conditions we’ve seen in a while. Because of all the new fluffy snow and wind you will see some moguls in spots but we are out grooming to try and take care of problem areas. Please remember to treat lightly on newly groomed trails and keep tracks from spinning. The better you treat the trail, the better it will stay until the next groomer visit. Remember this the next time you running over moguls asking yourself where the groomer has been! Stay safe and stay right!

This weekend is the All Club Ride-In at the Stockton Fairgrounds from 11-3 on 2/8. Be sure and stop by to enjoy one of the best events of the year. 3 Seas in Mayville is also hosting Polaris Demo Days on 2/7 from 1-4PM at the lakefront for those of you who want to try a new sled demo ride!

Conditions continue to improve as of 1/28 with the cold temps and grooming work. Trails are in good to very good condition now. Temps are expected to stay cold for the foreseeable future and we even have a little snow in the forecast. Should be a great weekend for Winterfest in Bemus point and the 4th of July Picnic in French Creek, be sure and come out to enjoy these yearly events.
