I would like to thank all of the groomer driver's that were out Saturday & Sunday. On Sunday we trail headed at the State Park at Bemus Point. We rode from there over to Randolph in southern Cattaraugus County. Then north up to South Dayton. Then the return loop was across C4 towards Stockton, C4A south back to the State Park. Just to give you an idea it was 110 miles all totaled. I would venture to say that even during the late morning hours, we had seen 6 Groomers out, thankfully all going the opposite way to us. 95% of all the trails we were on were good to excellent conditions.

THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WE HAD A GREAT DAY OF RIDING. 110 miles in 5 hours, mainly due to the great conditions.

As a side note;

We were on some trails that we hadn't ridden before. Some of the junctions weren't marked very well, or some short cuts to avoid the main junction, creating a triangle to us was confusing, because the triangle's "junction" was now as big and used just as much as the main junction. But the confusion was due to the short cut appearing before the main junction and with no markings for the short cut. I would suggest maybe a tree or two down the trail placing another corridor placard so at a glance you can plainly see which trail you want. Some junctions aren't on the trail map, they have a junction number but they aren't on the map. We knew which trail we wanted but we were left wondering where the unknown trail went to. I've been trail cleaning, but next pre season, I'm also wanting to trail mark as well so I can help solve my own confusion an learn more trails.

Great, always looking for additional help in making things easier. Sometimes signs are limited but I to like the idea of signs at the starts of the trails to make it clear which one you are looking at.

Hopefully we can get at least one more weekend out of all this snow.

I'd have to agree on this also
