Rode from Westfield at noon today and I think our little trolley line trail is the best in the county, with low traffic and groomed tuesday you can still cruise at 55 mph without crashing. But anyway the trail to Findley Lake was in good to fair condition early on but starting breaking down with the high traffic. Open fields were the best riding and wooded areas were a bit rough. I'm not going to complain too much since its the 1st weekend in march and we are still riding (1000 miles since feb 11th, not too bad) get out there and ride, we still have plenty of base on most trails, just be alert and you'll have a good ride.

Did a 130+ ride all over the southwest portion of the trails system today as well. All trails were super nice just a little after 7AM. All groomed and really frozen from the night before. When I got there it was 7 degrees so it held the groom well for most of the morning. Could have been a 200 mile day for sure if I had wanted. Few bumps here and there coming back in the early afternoon after things started to break down but all and all its real nice on this portion of the trail. Trails close to the roads are obviously dirt but there is still two feet of snow in some if not most areas in the woods and fields.

The groomer drivers have to be beat from this long season, hardly a break all year. You guys deserve some time off for sure and with the warm temps coming back it looks like this might finally be the end. Without speaking for the groomers it seems like the trails will remain open for a while but I'm not sure they will be out after this weekend or not. With overnight temps in the low 30's I think I just had my last ride this weekend. Over 1200 miles this year though, so I can't complain one bit. Thanks a bunch guys and I look forward to it again next year!
