100 miles today mostly on the southern portion of the trail system. We did go north and east of the lake to Bemus but turned around because the conditions were so good on the western part of the lake. I have to say, whoever runs the groomers down around Findley, French Creek, Clymer area are doing a TOP NOTCH job. I drove over there today expecting bumps and a 50-70 mile day but was shocked to see how nice those trails were. Trails around the clubhouse to sherman were also sweet.
Some of the best riding I've ever been on, no joke. Not a lot of snow but I have to say with what there is to work with, those groomer drivers have mad skillz. Just like to say thank you for the nice ride whoever was out last night! We got some of the first tracks on the fresh groomed snow.
Overall conditions are good++ on the southern portion. North and East of the lake is still marginal if you ask me with a few more holes still left open. This area didnt get all the snow that the southern portion got a few weeks ago, so it makes sense they arent as good. Book the hotels and make plans for next weekend though. Should all be frozen by then and some more groomers should be out east of the lake. PLUS the Yamaha trailer with all the demo sleds will be at the CLSC clubhouse next weekend!!!
